    A: The company has a project of its own, which is to do a member marketing platform on the Web side, and then take over the development of some micro program and micro channel public number.

  • What kind of work did you do at your last company? What is your role in this?

    A: There are 12 people in the R&D department of the company. I have two in the front end, and the rest are background development. What I do in the company are as follows: That members of the company marketing platform project, the customer will often mention some demand, tidy up the products there needs, UI there is a design, I according to the product demand and the UI design to complete the development of new requirements as well as some bug fix, after more than a month into the company, the leader says to do front end separate membership marketing platform system, using layui refactoring, I cooperated with another front end and spent two months to reconstruct the whole system from the front end to the back end. Then I was independently responsible for the page development and interface docking of several small programs.

  • How do you manage code what do you use?

    A: Companies use SVN for code management.

  • What are your strengths? What are the disadvantages?

  • What are your career plans?

    A: Solid foundation of their own front-end, always pay attention to the front end of the new technology, so that their knowledge system is huge, can easily respond to various business needs.

After asking me these questions, HR said, “Ok, I’ll stop here for today. If it suits us later, other colleagues will call and invite you for an interview. Then after 2 days did not reply, I feel I should be cold.

She asked me questions, I answered up, so I sent a message to the boss zhiping company to ask the situation, the company’s employer is a technical department leader, he said it should be no, but we still have a channel: You can check out our Github job description, get a PR for our open source component, get an extra interview, and then send me their team’s Github link.

After I got the link, I didn’t quite understand what he meant by PR. Then I asked my friends for help. They told me that PR was a problem, and he probably meant you to find bugs for them. Then I found an article about how Baidu promoted PR on Github. I followed the article and cloned their open source project to the local site. I ran the project according to readme. See mock data is simulated, I just wonder if the interface returned data too much, he this form will not be a problem, so I just got a mock platform that simulates the some data, wrote the article 11 of the data, they form the interface changed my mock services, after the operation found that article 11 shows the data from the form, However, the total number of items displayed at the bottom of the table was 10. My idea was right, so I made data interception for the code of his data table during rendering. If the data returned by the interface was larger than the number of items displayed on each page, I intercepted the redundant data and successfully repaired the bug.

After fixing the bug, I proposed a PR for his open source project according to the content mentioned in the article. After finishing these operations, it was already 2 o ‘clock in the morning. I started to work on it from 8 o ‘clock in the evening. After sending the message, I put down my phone and went to sleep.

Forget it. I just missed another interview.

Suddenly, a company replied me and asked me when it would be convenient for me to have an interview. After reading the news, I thought I couldn’t miss this opportunity and said I could have an interview next Monday (May 13th). At that time, it was Wednesday, May 8th, 2019. I found the ticket on 10th was very cheap (410 yuan), and bought the ticket on 10th to guangzhou.

On May 10th, after I arrived in Guangzhou, the company where I proposed PR sent me a message on boss Zhiping, which is as follows:

I have an appointment on the 14th (I have an interview with a company on the 13th)

Okay, I’ll see you on the 14th.

May 11 and May 12 are just weekends, accompanied by my girlfriend rented a house here.

Time came on May 13th, the first company about my interview time, his company in baiyun district a more remote places, their company is located the building looked quite old, I am a little scared, this is not a pyramid scheme, after a series of struggle, decided to go to, their company on the 6th floor, is a small company, hr is asking me for the resume, After about 5 minutes, a man came out, took me into a small room, and asked me the following question:

  • Are you familiar with vUE’s bidirectional binding?

  • What is the life cycle of vue?

    A: Thanks, I’m not familiar with VUE, my tech stack is mainly jquery, and I got up and left the company.

Interview for the first time in your life (the last company is friends relatives, no interview) like this is over, I suffered the blow, when I was in the last company, led a vue CDN in your spare time, saw the vue simple syntax, wrote a few demo, I feel good vue simple, feel that their technology is very strong, out of the comfort zone, I realized I was a frog in a well.

When I got back to my rented apartment, I went to Baidu to find the questions the interviewer had asked me today, went into rote memorization mode, and started preparing for my next interview.

Time come on May 14th, I came to me about the second company downstairs, the company in guangzhou east station over there, I saw the company after the office of the building, surprised, this is a big company, office building high-end grade atmosphere, went to the company’s floor, into the company, in particular, there are about more than 100 people, The front desk gave me a pen test for me to do, after finishing, the little sister at the front desk took my pen test, after 10 minutes, a man came to take the pen test I did, let me go inside, he asked me the following questions:

After I said goodbye to him, the whole person mood is low, somebody else’s interviewer has relaxed to me to this point, I did not answer his question, I am good food, on the subway, I like to lose the soul like standing in a daze on the subway, missed the station for 3 times. The house I rented is on Line 6, and the company I interviewed today is on Line 3, so I need to change the line in Yantang. At that time, I felt very depressed and could not keep up my spirits.

Finally forced myself not to think about the scene of the interview just now, I still have the opportunity, I will prepare for two weeks, two weeks later I will try, and then in the boss direct hire on the message, said I will prepare for two weeks, two weeks later I will interview, he promised me, back to me said: ok, you are ready.

I returned home, practice officially began to retreat, I told my friend I interview today, my friend said, I advise you’d better don’t commit suicide by hanging dead in a tree, or prepare a interview, I didn’t listen to the advice of our friends, because I think the interviewer promised to me, let me try again two weeks later, will let me try, won’t break his word.

I focused on the content of the written test and the questions the interviewer asked me, and began to search for solutions to make up for the knowledge points I lacked. My daily work and rest time for the two weeks was from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m.

After two weeks of hard work, I had mastered the content of the test paper thoroughly, and then I used vue CLI to simulate the SegmentFault home page. When I contacted the interviewer again, he told me that I was sorry that our department did not recruit people for the time being. Please check that other departments of our company needed people. This is the rhythm of kicking the ball, AH, I prepared for so long, unexpectedly put me up, I was wronged of the cry, a little regret at that time did not listen to my friend’s advice, really hanging in a tree.

After hanging from a tree, I pulled myself together and cut my hair short enough to start from scratch. I began to some statistics on the boss hired straight company recruitment information, write the place, compare distance into the company are put together, and then concentrated to an interview, one day face four companies, two in the morning at 2 PM, most companies gave me the opportunity, there are three companies turned me down, they say need to resume in the boss hired straight, and then they there through the screening, I just invited me here for an interview.

After many interviews, I found that they asked only a few questions back and forth, I remember, the rest of the interview is pretty smooth. Several companies have passed the technical aspects, but failed in THE hands of HR. They dislike me for my lack of education.

Successful entry

As I had accumulated enough experience in the previous interview, I finally passed the interview of a company after some tough interviews. Since I had not graduated at that time, I was hired as an intern on June 5th.

Head of front-end development team

After I joined this company, they encapsulated a set of their own framework with JSP, using jquery as the technology stack and Java as the back end. Since I was very skilled in using jquery, there was no separation between the front and back ends of the company’s projects, and I had a good Java foundation, so I quickly started the business development of the company.

The group leader’s departure
