Flying OARS upgrade frontier Innovation Forum
In 2016, PaddlePaddle was officially open source. Based on years of deep learning technology research and business application, Baidu created China’s first self-developed, fully functional, open source, industry-level deep learning platform, enabling enterprises and developers to avoid repeating “wheel building”. Open Source Forum invites technical leaders of many well-known open source projects around the world to express their opinions and explore open source approaches in the field of AI technology.
Once a good deep learning model is trained, the value of the model and algorithm can only be truly demonstrated when deployed in production. Therefore, how to give full play to the hardware computing power in different hardware environments, how to use the multi-frame model in industrial production environment at the same time, Java developers how to integrate C++/Python programs with their own database applications and other issues are very critical. [Industry and Education Integration talent Co-education] Forum
Over the years, Baidu has been leading the research and development of China’s core deep learning technology as a “wild goose”, but also continues to empower and lead the development of artificial intelligence technology education, providing sufficient power for AI talent training. “The construction of new engineering focuses on talent, and the key to talent training is teachers.” The parallel forum invited principals from Tsinghua University, Dalian University of Technology, Jilin University, China Agricultural University and paddling Education ecological operation to discuss production-research cooperation and talent cultivation in the era of artificial intelligence.
In 2018, Tsinghua established an interdisciplinary AI Research Institute to explore AI innovation and entrepreneurship education. Mr. Wang Yuxin will share the experience of cooperating with Baidu in teacher training, competition and collaborative education projects in Dalian Institute of Technology as baidu AI innovation practice base.
Professor Xuan Yubo from Jilin University will share the teaching process of project-based training with design thinking as the core, which is how to cultivate new innovation and entrepreneurship projects, and cultivate new engineering talents with strong engineering ability, innovation ability and international competitiveness for emerging industries. Zhao Ming, a teacher from China Agricultural University, will introduce the teaching experience of in-depth cooperation with Baidu to improve the quality of artificial Intelligence course construction through industry-university-education cooperation.
