“Live up to the time, the creation of non-stop, this article is participating in 2021 year-end summary essay competition”
To introduce myself
Start with a brief introduction of yourself, as you would normally do in an interview.
I am an undergraduate student who is about to graduate. I am also a beginner of the front-end world. If there is a word to sum up the campus life that is coming to an end, I think there is a word that fits perfectly — mediocrity. Have an average academic record and have never participated in any technical activities or competitions; In life, however, there seems to be nothing to speak of, either externally or internally. All in all, except for a heart that refuses to be ordinary, everything seems ordinary.
Looking back to 2021
I didn’t even know it was time for me to find a job 😮 if I didn’t see a friend’s internship in bytedance on wechat in early 2021. From this moment, I started 2021 full of complicated emotions.
Grow in self-doubt
Why do I choose front-end, how to learn front-end and other common topics are not discussed. For me, compared with the impact brought by the huge front-end knowledge system, the self-doubt generated during the long school recruitment and job hunting is more unforgettable to me
The first interview in my life was approved by Baidu in advance at the end of August. When I was so abused by the interviewer in the second interview that I even forgot how to write the bubbling order, I couldn’t help saying to myself:
“Why are you so clumsy? Can you really get a job like this?”
Then I went along with this slightly negative mood in September and October. It was not surprising that I had failed many times. With the anxious voices on Niuke and the passionate discussions among the big shots in the college’s employment group, I increasingly doubted whether I would be able to have a class
- Written test failure – countless
- On one side – Tencent, Baidu, Meituan, Glory, Futu, etc
- Two faces — I don’t think so
- Hang on three sides – spell duo Duo, degree small full
Whatever does not destroy me makes me stronger. — Nietzsche
Fortunately, my body seems to be inscribed with the gene of getting more and more brave. I kept summarizing the interview and gradually strengthened my knowledge system. More importantly, after I failed to write the spiral print array in the three sides of Panyu More, I began to insist on the habit of writing the solution of each question. In this process, I can clearly feel that they know more, remember more firmly, say more smoothly, and finally in the smoke filled with autumn recruit battlefield gains.
The long drought brings rain
On October 29, 2021, I officially received my first OFFER in my life. Here I am really very grateful to Xiaomi for giving me a job opportunity 😭 Even though the salary in Xiaomi is not so beautiful compared with other factories, at least IT finally gives me confidence to say to myself: “Hey! You can.”
Recalling the fate of xiaomi, the time span of these three months is also quite long. I also want to summarize briefly here
-
Written examination – did not attend 😥 at the end of September was picked up by HR
-
Interview – two rounds of technical questions, not very difficult, very basic questions (because the resume is also very basic)
-
Ask questions — including but not limited to HTML5 semantics, CSS selectors and common units, Flex layout, ES6, TCP and HTTP related, CORS cross-domain resource sharing, Vue related
-
Write some code — draw circles and triangles, several JavaScript inheritance methods, implement promise. all, implement deep copy, implement call methods, and a few easy algorithm problems
-
Simple summary
First of all, I have to admit that there is a huge gap between me and most front-end players of my age, and I have to introduce myself in every interview by saying “I haven’t been around the front end that long” to save some face for my narrow skill set. And just as Dongpo Koshi said, in the vast front of the universe, I exist like a mayfly, there are so many things waiting for me to learn.
Send the mayfly in the sky and the sea, a millet. – su shi
At this point, I can finally respond to my title with a little literary phrasing. Even if I am like a boat in the ocean now, maybe every bit of wind and waves will let me black and blue all over, but as long as the enthusiasm of the front-end technology, to set sail, is able to step by step to complete the goal.
Outlook 2022,
The review of 2021 seems like an essay for the college entrance exam, so the outlook for 2022 should be a little more realistic
- First of all, I wish my family and friends good health and an early end to the epidemic.
- Moreover, IN 2022, I will bid farewell to campus and enter the workplace. I hope I can adapt to the pace and environment of work as soon as possible, and make up the deficiency in my technology stack as soon as possible.
- Finally, I hope I can change my identity from reader to author in nuggets, transform input into output, and consolidate my knowledge while sharing with others.
2021 is coming to an end. Thank you for your parents’ understanding and support, friends’ encouragement and trust, and the creators of nuggets who shared so many excellent articles. Wish you all the best in 2022!
