“This is the 20th day of my participation in the Gwen Challenge in November. Check out the details: The Last Gwen Challenge in 2021.”

1. Download and install Kibana

Kibana profile

Kibana is an open source data analysis and visualization platform designed to work with Elasticsearch as part of the Elastic Stack. You can use Kibana to search, view, and interact with data in the Elasticsearch index. You can easily use charts, tables and maps to analyze and present data in a variety of ways.

Elasticsearch is the web management background for Elasticsearch.

Kibana makes big data easy to understand. It’s simple and browser-based interface makes it easy to quickly create and share dynamic data dashboards to track Real-time changes in Elasticsearch data.

Building Kibana was very simple. You can complete the Kibana installation and start exploring Elasticsearch index data in minutes — no code, no extra infrastructure required.

This is from the Kibana user manual:

  • Analysis Elasticsearch query expression performance
  • Debugging grok

3, Kibana Chinese

By default, the Kibana interface is displayed in English, which is not very friendly to domestic developers. But Kibana supports multiple languages. We only need to add a line of configuration in its configuration file to realize the Chinese interface.

Go to the config subdirectory under the Kibana decompression directory, where the kibana.yml file is the configuration file. Open the file, and add the following configuration information at the end of the file.

Restart the Kibana service and access the local port 5601 again, this time the interface is displayed in Chinese.
