First, the overall process of using JINGdong Yunyun monitoring products to trigger a URL call

Jingdong Cloud Monitoring is a cloud resource Monitoring and alarm service under a user’s name. Through monitoring, customers can easily understand the use, performance and operation of resources on JINGdong Cloud; Through the alarm, customers can respond in time to ensure the stable operation of the application. There are a variety of alarm options: SMS, email, alarm callback. This document describes in detail the process of invoking a URL using alarm callback. This type of alarm can help users implement automatic O&M policies, such as elastic scaling and elastic IP address expansion. The general process of setting alarm callback is as follows:

1. Create alarm contacts as notification objects in the next step of setting alarm rules.

2. Select a resource monitoring item and set Alarm Rules.

3. Implement an HTTP server service, respond to Post requests, and implement an automatic operation and maintenance operation according to the contract.

2. Create alarm contacts

1. Choose Account Management > Contact Management to access the contact management page.

2. Click Add. In the Add Contact dialog box, set related parameters.

3. Click OK to finish creating a contact.

Iii. Select a resource monitoring item and set “Alarm Rule”

This guide monitors an elastic IP address resource with an initial value of 4 Mbit/s and detects the average bandwidth value every five minutes. When the average bandwidth exceeds 75% (3 Mbit/s) and lasts for two periods (5 minutes, 10 minutes), the elastic IP address resource is automatically adjusted to 8 Mbit/s.

1. Choose Cloud Monitoring > Resource Monitoring > Public IP Monitoring to access the public IP address monitoring list.

2. Select one of the elastic IP addresses, click Alarm Rule in the operation section, and click Add Alarm Rule on the Alarm Rule page.

3. In the first step of “Setting alarm Rules”, click “Add Alarm Rules” and set according to the following parameters: Alarm rules: Network outgoing rate /5 min/average value />/3000000bps/ 2 cycles Alarm level: General notification period: 24 hours

4. In the second step of “Set alarm Rules”, set the following parameters: Select “Monitoring Administrator” in the “All Contacts” list and click “>” button to move to the “Selected Contacts” list. Select URL Perform Action and set user-defined URL and Post parameters.

Implement an Http Server service, respond to Post requests, and implement an automatic operation and maintenance operation according to the contract

Implement an HTTP server service, respond to Post requests, and then call the OpenAPI/SDK provided by JINGdong Cloud to achieve the goal of extended elasticity.

Note: This guide is only used to explain the process of using JINGdong cloud monitoring to trigger a URL call. The implementation of HTTP server service is not detailed.
