Since I started programming in 2016, I came up with the idea of writing a blog about what I learned. At that time, I was attracted by the simple and beautiful UI of Jane Book. From then on, I posted all articles to Jane Book.
I also know about the incident in 2017 when the CEO of Jane Book cursed programmers. Many programmers left Jane Book at that time. I thought Jane book was a good experience, so I left it alone and continued to use it. But recently received a notice, many articles were locked, appeal fruitless, the initiation of the idea of leaving Jane book.
I’ve been looking at the alternatives to Jane books these days, and after a closer look, I find that Jane books has changed: the recommended articles on the front page are a mess, they are all about sex, emotional problems, how to make money online, all kinds of headlines and anxiety peddling, etc. Because I usually only write articles in Jane’s book, so I haven’t paid much attention. It made me even more determined to leave Jane.
During this period, I got to know several blogging platforms: Digjin, CSDN, Blog Garden, Zhihu and so on. Finally, I decided to switch to Digjin, because it is oriented to professional and technical personnel, has a relatively modern UI, supports Markdown editor and enjoys good popularity.
Let’s hope the nuggets stay true to where they started and get better and better!
