That’s what the Fetlang project is all about. Call it awesome, call it creepy. The project recently popped up on GitHub, thanks to a man named Dagan, also known as Property404.


“Fetlang is a statically typed, programmatic, cryptic programming language and reference implementation. It’s deliberately designed in such a way that the source code looks like poorly written fetish porn.”

Granted, Vulture South hasn’t written a single line of code with Fetlang, but it’s easy to see that it’s the work of a programming genius with a slightly bad bone in his body:

If you need to access a value in a chain, you need a “bound loop” statement; To exit, the developer invokes SafeWord (of course).


If you peruse the tutorial carefully, Fetlang’s output exists as a Unix Stoud wrapper — to get the output “Hello! This is my first Fetlang program!” , simply execute the following command:
