As a developer, I often take notes to record technical notes and technical difficulties in the development of work. May have done for many years, not a personal blog of their own. So now I recommend a sharp tool to build a personal blog – pagoda! Let’s talk about pagodas.

A brief introduction to the Pagoda

1. Comprehensive operation

Pagoda Panel is a server management software that supports Windows and Linux. You can easily manage servers on the Web and improve o&M efficiency. For example: create management website, FTP, database, with visual file manager, visual software manager, visual CPU, memory, traffic monitoring chart, schedule tasks and other functions.

2. Rich functions

Pagoda panel has fast and convenient one-click configuration and management, one-click configuration of server environment (LAMP/LNMP/Tomcat/Node.js), one-click deployment of SSL, remote backup; Enable or disable SSH services, modify SSH ports, disable ping, permit firewall ports, and view operation logs. CPU, memory, disk I/O, network I/O data monitoring, you can set the record saving days and any day to view the data; Scheduled tasks can be added and executed periodically, SHELL scripts are supported, websites, database backup and log cutting are provided, and one-click backup is supported to the cloud storage space or other cloud storage space. Through the Web interface, you can easily manage the server software used for installation, as well as practical extension plug-ins; Integration of convenient and efficient file manager, support upload, download, packaging, decompression and file editing view.

3. Pagoda features

Two, environmental requirements

1. Linux panel environment requirements

  • Operating system: New system (supports CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, and Deepin)
  • Make sure the operating system is clean and has not installed Apache/Nginx/ PHP /MySQL in any other environment
  • Pagoda Linux6.0 version is based on centos7 development, it is strongly recommended to use centos7. X system
  • Memory: the minimum memory size is 512MB. 768MB or more is recommended. The memory size of the panel is about 60MB

2. Windows panel environment requirements

  • Operating system: 2003(x86), 2008(X64), 2012/2016
  • Environment requirements: Microsoft.net Framework 2.0
  • Memory: A minimum of 1 GB memory is required. 1 GB or more is recommended.

Three, environment installation

Linux panel installation

In Linux, LNMP, LAMP, Tomcat, and Node.js are supported

1. Installation of LNMP and LAMP environment

  • When the installation is complete, open the address of the panel in the browse window and log in to the panel. The panel will automatically recommend you to install the environment suite. There are two options: LNMP kit and LAMP kit (as shown in the figure) :

  • The main difference between THE LNMP and LAMP environments is that the Web servers are Apache server and Nginx server.

  • If you do not know the difference between the two, please use the recommended installation (LNMP kit). The installation method is selected according to the actual situation. If you do not know, you can also use the default installation method (maximum speed installation). If you do not need these packages, you can also select Software Management in the left function bar of the panel and select the installation program from the current list.

  • After selecting one-click installation, the number of tasks will be displayed automatically in the upper left corner of the panel. Click to enter the task list (as shown in the picture) :

  • In the current interface will display the program installation progress, or program execution progress. Wait for a period of time and check the task list to see whether the task is complete.

2. Install Tomcat

  • If used for JSP development projects, you need to use Tomcat, install Tomcat server, select the toolbar on the left side of the panel, software center, in the selection of Tomcat installation, the same, you can view the current installation status in the task list. (As shown) :

Install node.js environment

  • If you are using the node.js development project, you need to use the PM2 process management tool. Install the PM2 management tool in the toolbar on the left side of the panel, in the software center, select PM2 installation (as shown in the figure).

4, Windows panel installation

First click to launch the Windows Pagoda Panel application and select the Environment option (pictured) :

  • Environment programs are mainly IIS, Apache, Nginx, PHP, Mysql, SQL Sever, FTP, traffic monitoring plug-ins.
  • Web servers are supported, including IIS, Apache2.4, and nginx-1.11.13.
  • PHP version of the main support, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4, 5.5, 5.6, 5.7, 7.0, 7.1.
  • Database main support, MySQL5.5, MySQL5.6, MySQL5.7, Mariadb-10.1.16, SQL-Server2005, SQL-Server2008.
  • FTP supports FileZilla Server.

Iv. Cloud server installation

1, Ali Cloud server installation pagoda

Ali Cloud server installation of the pagoda is super simple and convenient, as follows

2, Ali cloud server installation pagoda completed, start a new journey.

Enter http://ip:8888 to enter the management page of the pagoda. Start building your first website!

Five, common problems

1. The port is not allowed

The following cloud service providers need to start after the installation of the pagoda, do not open will not be able to use.

2. Linux panel forgot the password

Command Enter this command, and at the end enter the new password

3. The Linux panel clears login restrictions

If a message is displayed indicating multiple login failures and the login is temporarily prohibited, run the following command to clear the login restriction.

rm -f /www/server/panel/data/*.login

4. Linux panel Delete the domain name binding panel

If domain name login is restricted in the current panel and you need to cancel domain name binding, run the following command to clear domain name binding.

5. Disable IP access restriction on the Linux panel

If the current panel restricts login IP addresses, you can run the following command to clear the restriction

rm -f /www/server/panel/data/limitip.conf

6, Windows panel WEB page forgot password or range limit solution

This problem can be solved by using the function of changing the password and deleting the binding provided by the Settings menu.
