Recently, I’m going to learn a little bit about data analysis. In the figure below, there is a little bit of advertising, but it is not too much skill. Programmers should have a little product thinking and be sensitive to data.
Read the introduction of some training institutions, involved in the knowledge point is quite a lot, there are tools, thinking, practical operation and the final report. You can’t eat a fat man in one bite. Take your time.
Excel and SQL should be the most basic, which was introduced in the previous 30+ program Veteran transformation Path — Tools (WPS+PostgreSQL)
This time we will learn about data visualization, Tableau is a more popular visualization software, but need to download and install, in the saas fire today, there are some more convenient alternatives.
Sugar is an agile BI and data visualization platform launched by Baidu Intelligent Cloud. It can build data visualization page in 5 minutes by dragging and dropping chart components. It is rich in components, out of the box, without SQL and any coding. With visual charts and powerful interactive analytics, businesses can use Sugar to effectively power their business decisions.
Let’s try Sugar
Preparing the data source
We have prepared monitoring data of more than 300 cpus. This is the exported CSV file
We need to prepare a cloud database, MemFireDB is used here, which can provide the IP of the public network to be used as the data source of Sugar
Use DBeaver to import CSV data into the cloud database, or to insert or modify data dynamically in the cloud database console, or in the application
Preview the data in DBeaver and the import is successful
Configure a large visual screen for Suager
In the data source management, create the data source. Fill in the cloud data service address, database name, and user name in the previous step
In model management, create a model. Here we want to show a HISTORICAL curve of CPU. Select “timestamp” as the dimension and the utilization of thief user as the measurement value
In the large-screen management, configure the large-screen, select the large-screen template, click the line chart, and then select the configuration data. Here, the data can choose API or cloud database. Here, we select the cloud database data source configured just now
With the configuration complete, we can preview the line chart
After the configuration is complete, click save. In the list of large-screen management, you can choose to share the newly created large-screen data to other users
conclusion
The APP writes data directly to the cloud database and Sugar can load data from the cloud database in real time for large screen display without any local software or services being installed!! The charts we share will change as the data in the cloud database changes, making it a truly dynamic visualization
