Drag the Data Generator Operator under Processing to the graph editing area and click on the <> symbol to start editing the script:

You can view the automatically generated JavaScript code:

The random number generated by the Generator requires an output. Here we select terminal operator:

Bind data Generator outport to terminal inport:

Perform:

See the printed output on the terminal:
