I don’t know how many of you have the same problem AS me: it’s too hard to watch videos on the web at work!

Sometimes work is not busy, want to work while charging, will go to find some videos to watch. But you’ll find it inconvenient.

Scenario 1: Open the video site, select the video, and watch it in full screen (with two screens). Now the Boss passes by…

Scenario 2: Open the video website, select the video, and switch to the background to play. Sometimes I feel like I’ve heard the key point, so I cut it back manually, go back and play it again, and then go back and forth…

Scenario 3: Turn on your phone, put on headphones, and watch the video on your phone. Boss posts messages on the computer, doesn’t notice, is criticized…

Scene 4: Turn on the phone, left ear phone headset, right ear computer headset, perfect viewing experience. As he got up, he took off the wrong earphones and pulled the computer from the desk to the floor…

All of these scenarios are my own experience. Because the web player can only keep full screen or background playback, even if there is a so-called small screen playback function, it only applies to this page.

It’s like this, but it’s really just for the convenience of checking the comments.

I scoured the Chrome store and couldn’t find a solution. The best way is to find a local player, copy in the URL of the video you want to watch, and set the player to “mini Play.”

But now most of the video websites are hidden real file address, still need to go online to find all sorts of analytical methods, a toss and turn down, where there is the mood of charging.

However, Dad Google has finally figured out what it’s like to be a fish lover and built a native “picture in Picture” feature into Chrome version 70.

The power of this picture-in-picture is that it plays in a separate window, away from the web, and the window is always at the front.

This is how it works…

Listening to crosstalk at work is also good

As you can see, just by right clicking on the video, you can go directly to “Picture in Picture”, which launches a little window that stays at the front, which is very convenient. (If the player has customized right-click menu, you can right-click more times)

So, how do we use enable this feature?

Step 1: Make sure your Chrome version is 70 or older

Step 2: Enter “Chrome ://flags” in the address bar.

Step 3: Find “Enable picture-in-picture “on the page that opens and select the check box from “Default” to “Enable”

Step 4: Restart the browser and you’re ready to use it happily

It’s more convenient to catch fish at work…
