Sarah Drasner, pictured above.

She is a programmer, head of the Developer Experience team at Netlify, and a member of the Vue core team. She is also a very interesting beauty. Her personal website is called Bomb Site.

More recently, she caused another explosion.

It started when she created a terminal app on Twitter with The strange name The F** K. You read that right, it’s that bad word.

The post received 3.2k retweets and 16,000 likes.

A lot of foreign netizens leave a message, have said: also too easy to use, use it! Amazingly easy to use! Thanks for sharing, good people are really winners in life!

Today, after the update, the app topped the GitHub Trends Daily list, earning 49,000 stars.

What the hell is going on?

The F**k

Sarah Drasner posted this video on Amway’s Twitter feed.

Using her MacBook Pro, she typed in command line code, which said: Error! How wrong? Do you want to study it?

Don’t have to!

Just type in four simple, elegant letters: F ** K. Then — the correct command is automatically written, and then automatically executed. This is the legend of simple dependability!

In the abstract, there are three steps:

Why can swearing at the street solve the problem?

That’s what Programmer Sister Amway has. It’s all thanks to an App called The F**k.

This is a powerful application that automatically corrects errors in console commands.

Just a few examples.

In the example above, there is a paragraph that shows adding missing parts to a command.

➜ apt – get the install vim

➜ fuck

There is also a section that shows how to automatically correct hand slip errors.

➜ puthon

➜ fuck

See? The details are not enumerated.

Error does not matter, as long as a: F ** K.

Is it super easy to use? The F**k supports Python versions later than 3.4 and is very simple to install. For macOS users, Homebrew can install:

brew install thefuck

It can also be installed via PIP:

pip install thefuck

More installation and update methods can be found on GitHub.

The F**k principle is not complicated, in fact, based on rules matching. If the match is successful, the correct command line is called up and executed, and there are a number of commands that match is enabled by default.

Of course, you can add new rules if you want.

The process goes like this:

The F**k takes some running time by default, but if you want to go faster, you can also try Instant Mode.

The F** K was written by Vladimir Iakovlev, a software developer based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The app predates qubits and currently has a 47.6 K star on GitHub.

But that’s not the end of the story.

Hyper

Sarah Drasner may seem like she’s playing nice with The F**k, but she accidentally gave The Internet another tool.

Take a look at this tweet again:

Zoom in:

Did you notice that when she typed commands, the cursor was pink and had a cool effect? For this reason, a lot of people left comments asking:

What these users are saying is: This is cool, I want it, I want it, I really want it!

Okay, okay, so little sister amway again.

This is it: Hyper.

An HTML/JS/CSS terminal that supports Apple macOS, Microsoft Windows, Debian, Fedora and various Linux platforms.

Installation is also very simple, can be downloaded from the following address:

hyper.is/

MacOS users can install Homebrew with the following instructions:

brew update

Microsoft Windows users can install using Chocolatey with the following instructions:

choco install hyper

As for the little sister that cool cursor, is this Hyper terminal in a plug-in, called hyperPower. Once installed, you’ll have cool input effects.

The address of the plug-in is here:

The hyper. Is/plugins/hyp…

On GitHub, the Hyper project also has 31K stars and is addressed here:
