Today I’m going to share with you a tool called GIPHY Capture. These days when I’m writing something, I need to generate animated GIFs in order to make the content easier to understand. So Google did a quick search and found this tool.
It is the world’s largest GIF resource website Giphy.com research and development of a GIF screenshot making tool. For example, if I want to record a piece of code input, but don’t want to use a relatively heavy video format, it can be very convenient to produce, such as the following image:
The power of GIPHY Capture is that it’s not limited to screen recording for a specific window, it can record anywhere on your screen, truly WYSIWYG. To see how the image above was made, take a look at this one:
The green area is the GIF recording range, you can arbitrarily move, zoom. After selecting the recording location, click the red record button below:
The recording area will be highlighted and all the actions will be recorded. Then click the Finish button below to finish.
When you’re done, you have the option to generate a GIF image. There are a variety of resolutions and qualities to choose from:

GIPHY Capture can basically meet the needs of most daily screen recording to generate GIFs. It is also one of the most convenient GIF making software in the Mac system. It can be downloaded directly from the Mac App Store. If you have a need to share content, it can be a great tool.
