The rapid development of machine learning technology promotes the prosperity of open source ecology, and the development of open source technology also promotes the rapid popularization of machine learning technology. The success of artificial intelligence is inseparable from the wide application of deep learning. If in the past decade, deep learning mainly focused on unstructured data such as images and texts, in recent years, the birth of Graph Neural Networks marks that deep learning has begun to enter the field of structured data. This report will review the basic principles of the new algorithm of “deep + graph” and its many application scenarios. We will highlight Deep Graph Library (DGL), an open source computing framework for Deep Graph learning developed by Amazon Cloud Technology Shanghai Institute of Artificial Intelligence, and share some of our insights and achievements for the developer community.
Inventory forecasting plays an important role in the field of computational advertising. Whether it is brand advertising or effect advertising, inventory forecasting lays a solid foundation for supply and demand planning and bidding strategy. FreeWheel is committed to creating a computational advertising platform that combines product and effect, providing advertising services to thousands of customers around the world, with a daily volume of 1 billion. The difficulties and challenges of advertising inventory forecasting come from many aspects. Firstly, the dimension explosion brought by the combination of directional conditions, secondly, the super-long forecasting cycle, and thirdly, the massive data processing, analysis and model training introduced by the combination of these two factors. As an open source tool for graph neural networks, DGL also faces several challenges in helping industry successfully use graph neural networks. This presentation will combine the experience of DGL core community members and data scientists from Amazon Cloud Technology in actual GNN landing projects to introduce the challenges of GNN+DGL in real cases and our thinking. We hope to draw the attention of the whole community to these challenges and jointly promote the promotion and development of GNN and DGL
