Atlas, developed by Alibaba Mobile team, uses containerized ideas to solve large-scale team collaboration problems and realize parallel development, rapid iteration and dynamic deployment. It is suitable for the development of large and small apps with Android 4.x or above.
Atlas is particularly suited for collaborative development in large teams. By providing component-based, dynamic and decoupled support, Atlas can realize the independent compilation, debugging and operation of each business in the development stage, and finally integrate into the client in the form of a component, without affecting each business in parallel development. In addition, it also has the ability of client dynamic release and quick repair.
Currently, Atlas runs on 60+ business components developed by 20 collaborative teams on Mobile Taobao, with millions of lines of code. Rapid iteration allows applications to be updated at any time, effectively reducing user frustration with frequent releases.
