(1) General information

I haven’t updated my technical articles in recent days, because I am mainly preparing for the interview. But NOW I have decided on a new job, which can be regarded as a goal of this job-hopping. I will continue to update my technical articles in the future (I will try my best to spare some time if I have no time). I officially quit my job on March 18th and began to send out my resume on March 22nd. During this period, I interviewed four companies and have confirmed three offers so far. The next words are not ready to face, now set the next home.

(2) The interview situation

Let me talk about one situation of my interview this week. Among the four companies I met with this time, they basically covered the main types of companies in Hangzhou: start-up companies, listed companies, outsourcing companies and companies in the traditional software industry. Tell me what I think.

First of all, a listed company I met with is very large, but computers are not his strong point. I was interviewed by a technical director with 5 years’ experience in Huawei and 2 years’ experience in Tuniu. Generally speaking, the interview was very pleasant, and the questions I asked were more focused on practice and knowledge points of the department. The company should be in a rush to recruit people, and offered them on the spot after a phone call, technical interview and HR interview.

Then there is the startup company, which is very impressive and moderate in scale. The middle and senior management of the startup company are almost all from Ali. Ali has a healthy shareholding and has great development potential in the future. For the interview, the first round of telephone interview (project, technical), then the written test (an algorithm), then the offline interview (technical +HR), and then the interview with the head of another department, which is also great. When I was waiting for the notice from this company, I was very anxious, because the company that offered the offer on the spot asked me to confirm it before Friday, and I personally wanted to go to this Ali department. Fortunately, I gave the notice on Thursday evening, so I didn’t have to worry about it. The interview was enjoyable and similar to the previous one, practical and basic.

Another is an outsourcing company. At first, I didn’t know it was an outsourcing job, because they wrote their own company on the Boss. In the interview of this company, I have asked the most questions, to what extent? When I reviewed the interview later, I found that I asked a total of 35 technical points in the first interview, and 20 technical points in the second interview. And there were so many questions I couldn’t remember. I haven’t told you yet, but I have no intention of outsourcing.

Finally, there is a traditional software industry, this interview is very simple, anyway the foundation is those, the framework they are their own, it is also easy to pass.

How do I prepare for the interview

It took me less than a week to decide where TO go from naked resignation. When I applied for my internship resume last year, there were few interview opportunities, so I applied a lot in one day, which resulted in many interviews on the same day. I had four interviews from morning till night on Tuesday and I was really tired.

Talk about how TO prepare for an interview. I’ve accumulated a lot of knowledge while writing a technical blog. I forget a lot, but when I go through my notes and blogs, I’ll remember them. Personally, I feel that the interview requires daily accumulation and temporary sharpening of the gun. Any lack of these two points will make the interview process more difficult.

In addition, you usually have to brush the exam paper, especially the algorithm. Many companies can receive hundreds of resumes a day, so you can brush off a large part of the written test. You don’t want to be the one who is brushed off the written test.

Where to go in the future

This has been decided in mind, and the specific company name will not be disclosed. If we meet in the workplace in the future, it will be fate. During the interview, I also found some deficiencies in my knowledge, which I will make up through the form of technical blog. There are many such series of learning articles now, such as Ao Bing, JavaGuide, but we have to do it ourselves. The interview questions will not be disclosed, the way of reciting the questions is not very good, if you can understand the content of multithreading, JVM and so on, I believe it will be more helpful to you.
