‘It went so fast,’ I would say at the end of each year. The year 2020 has already passed, but there are still many things worth summarizing. Next, I will sum up the three aspects of life, work and study.

1, life

In 2020, two important things were accomplished, one was getting married and the other was buying a house. Due to the epidemic, the wedding was postponed to the National Day on October 1. Fortunately, the wedding was held as scheduled during the National Day. Feel very lucky, daughter-in-law is on the kitchen, the hall, very good to parents, very filial and sensible. After getting married, I gained more than 10 jins of weight. Every day, my daughter-in-law cooked more delicious food. It was difficult not to get fat. Buying a house was discussed in 19 years, affected by the epidemic, the housing price has declined, so I decided to move, can be regarded as having their own small home outside.

On the last day of 2020, my mother was hospitalized for a heart attack. At that moment, I realized that my parents were getting older and their children had become their crutch. I also realized that I needed to work harder. Because of the limited medical conditions in the county, he transferred to the provincial capital hospital and did cardiac stent surgery. It’s recovering now. I thought of my parents getting old, but when I pushed them into the operating room, I still couldn’t bear the pain of losing them. So all I can do now is work hard so that they can go where they want and eat what they want for the rest of their lives.

2, work

At the beginning of the year, due to the epidemic, I worked from home for more than half a month.

By the end of February it was on track. And then when I got back to work, I worked crazy overtime, sometimes 007. My daughter-in-law just came to Shanghai from Beijing, and I had no time to accompany her. There was some quarrel in the middle. To be honest, I was tired during that time. I worked overtime until about 12 o ‘clock at night every day. So after persisting for three months, resolutely put forward the resignation. Working overtime is one of the reasons for leaving, and I feel that I have reached a bottleneck and can’t learn new skills (I work overtime every day and don’t have much time to learn), so IT’s time to change an environment. In the middle of April, I began to prepare for the interview (I said I was prepared, but basically I didn’t, so I was busy with the project). In May, I started the interview, and met several big factories successively. However, I was quite hit, probably because OF my lack of preparation, but more importantly, I didn’t accumulate enough. What impressed me most was the interview with alibaba, the first big factory. The interviewer was very nice, but because OF my lack of preparation, I still failed three interviews. I interviewed several other companies, but none of them turned out well. Because I worked too much overtime and had no time to prepare for the interview, I submitted my resignation in June. (To give you a piece of advice, change jobs must have a plan, it is best to prepare half a year in advance, there is no naked resignation). After leaving, I had plenty of time to prepare for the interview, but the pressure came with it, because I had just bought a house, so I couldn’t prepare for that long at home. During that time, there was at least one video interview every day. Their evening sometimes insomnia, and then sitting in the middle of the night on the sofa in the living room to learn…… I ended up working for a mid-sized company. I don’t work much overtime in the new company, and GRADUALLY integrate myself into the new company. As for my job-hopping experience, I will write an article about my psychological experience in the future.

3, learning,

In terms of study and technology, I read books and watched videos when CHANGING jobs and learned a lot. This year, I read the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People and Illustrated HTTP, among which the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People had a great influence on me and was a good book worth reading. In terms of skills, I passed the PMP project management exam in September, which can be regarded as a small goal for 2020. I set a small goal for myself every year, and it is certain to produce, such as 19 years is to get a driver’s license and so on. The 21 year plan is what I will write in the 21 year Plan.

Buying a house, changing my job, taking the PMP exam, getting married, and having my mother’s surgery is my timeline for 2020.

The key word for 2021 is metamorphosis

Come on, work hard!
