After the last school recruitment article, many students asked if they could write something about social recruitment, and now it has come. Compared with school recruitment, social recruitment attaches more importance to the reflection of project experience + project experience. This article is aimed at the P6/P7 students who want to enter Ali, and focuses on the part of project experience preparation that many students tend to ignore, hoping to be helpful to everyone.
1. Kung Fu is everyday
As can be seen from the figure above, interview preparation can actually be divided into two categoriesTwo parts:The first part is daily workResponsible for the abstraction, efficiency improvement and data expression of the project; Constantly reflect on how to use technology to enhance business value, that is, we often say technology for business empowerment; The second part is after deciding the interview, the preparation of basic skills/resume, etc.
In our daily work, it’s easy to overlook the project preparation part of the daily work. As it turns out, a big factor in deciding whether you get into Alibaba or not, or whether you get into a post-ranking position, is whether you have similar output in previous jobs. This is difficult to do within a month or two of preparing for an interview. This is why we often say that interviewing is routine.
In general, project preparation should always run through the daily work. If not, at least half a year to a year in advance to prepare, to be effective.
2. What should I prepare for the project experience
Once we have established that the project experience needs to be prepared in advance, the next question we face is what exactly to prepare for. Here we take an example from the resume 🌰 :
Xiao Ming is in charge of the hospital management module of XX Network. He is conscientious and diligent in daily work. When he is preparing to change jobs, he describes his own project experience like this in his resume
Contents of hospital management system: This project is a hospital background management system, using the technology stack main vUE framework family bucket series, including AXIOS, Router, VUex and Elemente-UI framework development. Most functions are secondary packaging of business logic components based on Elemente-UI, mainly including order management, wechat refund and doctor department management. Landing permissions to roles, etc., mainly in order to get through the hospital itself HospitalInformationSystem hospital management system, online synchronous operation, doctors on front end of the project is in the charge of my independence, from the architecture design of front-end based development.
What the interviewer wants is:
Content of hospital management System: This project is the background management system of XX hospital, which currently undertakes the use of XX hospitals/departments. Different from other hospital management background, this project uses XX ability to connect the project itself with the original management system of the hospital. At the same time, xx scheme is adopted in the project to facilitate the use of medical staff and improve the efficiency of XX. I undertook xx task in the project, which was developed using VUE bucket.
As you can see, the description of the project should include the following aspects:
- Project introduction: What does this project do? It’s better to have figures to support it
- Project features: What is the difference between this project and other projects? Why do you want to focus on this project
- Project scheme: What scheme was adopted to achieve the above project features
- My responsibilities: The more complex a project is, the less it is done by one person. What am I doing in it
- Project technology stack: What frameworks and tools were developed for the project
OK, so the above aspects are the parts we need to prepare for in the project experience — the project characteristics and project plan are particularly important and often overlooked.
During the oral description of the interview, you should:
Follow STAR methodology: Business Status & Thinking -> Technical capabilities to solve -> Difficulties & Solutions -> Final Results (data & Industry comparison & Next development direction)
At this time, some students want to ask, MY daily is simple business development, did not think so much ah. What am I supposed to do? Let’s move on to the next stage.
3. What if you don’t have this kind of project experience
Many students can think about their daily work, simply can not find the corresponding point of improvement. It feels like the technology enablement business is just empty talk that can’t be realized. In this case:
- Learn to switch sides: Try to put yourself in the product/user’s shoes and see if the project can be improved
- Broaden your horizons: Learn more about how similar products are done and what new industry technologies can be applied to the project
- Use the 10x rule: there are currently 100 patients that are manually entered in the system, but what if there are 1,000 patients, 10,000 patients? Every time a situation is 10 times more complex, the strategy changes. Use the 10x rule to ask yourself what else can you do
- Know business data: Many times you can’t think of anything because you don’t know the data. How many operations do doctors need to perform for a new case in this project? Is there anything that can be optimized? Can you view the render times of the page with Lighthouse? Are there areas that need to be optimized?
Remember, the front end is going in two directions right now:
- Large and complete full link through: such as Umi, React, etc
- Small but smart capabilities optimizations: as long as you look in both directions, such as React-use, browser plugin development scaffolding, and so on, you can always find your own focal point and apply it to your business.
4. To summarize
This paper systematically explains why it is necessary to prepare project experience, what to prepare and how to prepare, and makes up the most easily ignored links in the recruitment interview, hoping to be of help to everyone who wants to enter a big factory.
