HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP) is used to Transfer HyperText from WWW server to local browser. It can make browsers more efficient and reduce network traffic. It not only ensures that the computer transfers the hypertext document correctly and quickly, but also determines which parts of the document to transfer and which parts of the content to display first (e.g. text before graphics).
HTTP is called hypertext Transfer Protocol, which literally means transfer of hypertext.
For example, A and B both have A file in their hands, and A sends the file to B by agreement. This is called hypertext transfer.
Agreement: It’s basically a rule. For example, don’t drink while driving
Hypertext: Text can be understood as a document with picture content. Hypertext simply means that there is a hyperlink in our text content. Click the hyperlink to jump to other content. There are a lot of hypertext formats, and what we’re using right now is hypertext Markup Language, or HTML as it’s often called.
In one sentence HTTP is a rule for passing HTML between AB and AB.
