An overview of the

LinkedHashSet is similar to HashSet, except that the underlying LinkedHashSet uses LinkedHashMap to maintain the order in which elements are inserted.

LinkedHashSet inherits from HashSet, but overrides the constructor of HashSet to initialize a LinkedHashMap, otherwise identical to HashSet.

Constructor of HashSet

That’s pretty much all of the code for LinkedHashSet. Linked does this by calling the constructor that the parent HashSet provides for LinkedHashSet, which is package access and is not public.

Source code can be said to be very simple. This class maintains the insertion order of elements.
