Sometimes 3dMax renders the image noise, and these tiny particles make the image look very unclean. In this case, it is caused by the parameters of the rendering image. Then, what are the causes and solutions for the noise?
And render on3dmaxCause 1 of noise:
The image size is too low, resulting in unclear noise after rendering the effect picture.
Solution: If the 3DMAX material pixel is not high, but also used in magnification, then the image size is relatively large, there will be a fuzzy phenomenon, you can process the map in PS, re-assign the model material can effectively avoid the fuzzy noise after model rendering.
Cause of noise in 3DMax rendering 2:
Main light subdivision not enough
Solution: The main light subdivision is usually around 20, not too high, because it will directly affect the rendering time. The subdivision of hemispherical and spherical light is generally at least 30.
3dMax rendering noise causes 3:
Insufficient material subdivision
Solution: Generally speaking, the main materials in the scene, such as floor, latex paint and materials close to the camera, will be increased to about 20. Of course, if you have a good machine configuration can be increased, the effect is also positive.
3dMax rendering noise causes 4:
Glow map and light cache
Solution: Generally speaking, the maximum ratio and the minimum ratio of -3.-1 on the line, hemisphere subdivision and interpolation sampling 50 or so. The subdivision of the light buffer is between 1000 and 1500. Of course, the higher the value, the better. Pre-filter is checked and set to 20.
3dMax render noise cause 5:
DMC sample
Solution: adaptive number 0.75, noise threshold 0.001, minimum sample 16-20.
Normally your graph will not be noisy with this setup, but sometimes it will still be noisy. What is the reason for this
The tick in the red box is the key:
The problem is here, check the first and second options on the right can effectively avoid. The reason is very simple, the color value of white objects in the scene, such as latex paint, should not be 255, generally 250 is ok, so that noise can be effectively avoided. Max rendering may be miscalculated when the white value reaches 255.
Cause of noise in 3DMax rendering 6:
The more complex the structure is, the more dark shadows will be generated (in the form of lines). The larger the value is, the more solid the shadow will be. The smaller the value is, the more virtual the shadow will be. This will cause the rendering to look blurry.
The solution
-
Press F10 to open the Render Settings panel and find GI.
-
Select Ambient Occlusion (AO) and adjust the value to 0.8.
-
Adjust radius to 30. (4) Subdivide to 30.
Note: specific parameters according to their own renderings for adjustment. With AO enabled, the effect is better and the structure is clearer.
Normally your graph will not be noisy after this is done, but sometimes it will still be noisy after this is done, what is the reason?
This is where the problem lies, and it can be effectively avoided by checking “sub-pixel map” and “clamp output”. The reason is very simple, the color value of white objects in the scene, such as latex paint, should not be 255, generally 250 is ok, so that noise can be effectively avoided. Max rendering may be miscalculated when the white value reaches 255.
