If you’re new to Apple’s Mac OS and love to be neat and beautiful, you’ll find that the stereotyped blue boxes of folders on your hard drive or in your files are annoying. If you’re used to Windows and don’t know where to start, here’s an easy way to do it: copy it from a folder on your computer (or someone else’s Mac with a usb drive).

(1) Find the folder of your favorite icon, shortcut Command+I to open “Introduction”, as shown below;

(2) Click the folder to be replaced (such as travel photos) again, which is also the shortcut key Command+I to open “Introduction”, the picture below appears;

(3) When there are two profile images on the desktop, first click the small icon in the upper left corner of the profile to replace them. After clicking the shadow, the shortcut keys **Command+C copy, ** as shown below.

Then click the small icon in the upper left corner of the replaced profile (click to appear a shadow), and the shortcut key **Command+V paste, ** as shown below;

(4) The icon is the same after pasting, as shown below;

This folder icon modification is complete, it is really very simple! Remember to download the program in the future, and remember to copy the icon before uninstall.

Matters needing attention; Do not paste the shortcut icon to the desktop (shortcut) icon, but to the source file folder. To use the desktop shortcut, click and drag the mouse to the desktop while holding down the Opfion and Command keys. Release the mouse and release the two keys.
