Recently, when I was organizing PDF, there were some requirements that ordinary PDF editors could not meet, such as PDF batch merging, editing, etc.
So I went to GitHub to see if there were any wheels available and found this PDF doodle, which is surprisingly 12 years old. The project opened source on GitHub two months ago and has since earned a 4.2K Star.
A developer named WMJordan has been working on the PDF tool since 2009 and has been perfecting it for 12 years now.
With a powerful PDF bookmark editor (which automatically generates bookmarks), it can quickly extract images from PDF documents without damage, combine images with PDF documents, unify page sizes, and remove printing and copying restrictions on documents. For high-end developers, It also provides a series of functions such as document structure profiler.
Although the interface is very last century, the good news is that PDF Tinkering is powerful, and you can find any PDF processing function you want in this tool, not just:
-
Modifying a PDF Document
-
Merge existing PDF files or images
-
Split or merge PDF files
-
Convert PDF pages to images.
-
Extract or delete the pages specified in the PDF document, adjust the order.
-
Rename PDF file names based on the PDF document metadata.
-
Replace font: Replace the font used in the document;
-
Analyze document structure: display PDF document structure in tree view, edit and modify PDF document nodes, or export PDF documents into XML files for PDF enthusiasts to analyze and debug.
