Later, he became my boss, and we went through many ups and downs together when the financing dream of “Zaibao Company” was broken, the outsourcing project lost 80,000 yuan, and the start-up failure of “wechat Yangno Product”.
As luck would have it, the boss turned into an “education informationization” outsourcing manpower provider.
I became the boss’s party A.
On this premise, my boss created some opportunities for me to make money.
I need to take on the responsibilities of hiring outsourcers to my boss (as I mentioned in the last episode), teaching them to do projects, and picking up the pieces of bad projects.
These things are carried out at the behest of Teacher Ke.

In exchange, my boss paid me 2K labor per month.
It’s the most stable of all my extra income, but it’s also the most exhausting.

The second, supervise

Why is invigilation a benefit?
Because of revenue.

But invigilation is also a manual job.

Third, private work, programmer’s soul
Private work is not so private.
Because most of my private work is arranged by my boss, sometimes it is his demand, sometimes he is just a middleman.

Once, he needed to make an automatic course arrangement system for a department of W University, the core of which needed an algorithm program to seek “automatic course arrangement solution”. But the newly trained outsourcers he hired didn’t have that ability.
So the boss took out a W and let me solve the problem of the algorithm for him.
I spent half a month on leetCode and found that the “scheduling problem” was similar to the “Queen of N problem”, so I finally solved the problem using depth-first “backtracking algorithm” and put a W in my pocket.
In fact, how can it be so easy? Debugging, analyzing the problems encountered in actual production, sorting out data, such dirty work requires me to do it myself…
Such as:
One year, gov of a city in Hubei province had a simple demand for XX data management system, which was outsourced at the price of 20W. After 4-5 rounds of changes, the price was finally handed over to me from the boss, and the price was reduced to 2W.
I used Node.js + mysql + jquery to complete the business development, got a reward of 2W, and maintained it for one year.
It’s a pretty easy job, and there’s no fuss about maintenance.
The easiest private job was:
I made a set of small program + background management system for a friend of the boss to maintain his company’s customers.
But the whole system, the customer only used once in the acceptance, and then never used again. I received the full amount — $2.4 million.
A private job without maintenance. It smells so good.
The frequency of private work is erratic, and the income is high and low, but the amount of work is huge and the energy is intense, and it is one of my most important sources of income.
It also brings me a few dollars a year.
Writing and making money
There is money to be made in writing novels.
I’ve always been a literary youth.
I had been writing novels and modern poetry since I was 15, but usually for my own amusement, and had a vague reputation among my classmates.
When I was in college, I served as the president of the school literature club. I helped my classmates write love letters.

Then I wrote two more fantasy themes in succession, and submitted them to the editor of Ali Literature, who would only give me a “share contract”.

I’m not here for a dream.

The editor of Ali Literature read this beginning, slapped his thigh, and gave me a guarantee contract of 10 yuan / 1000 words.
The so-called guarantee means that no matter whether readers subscribe or not, I can get a guaranteed income of 10 yuan / 1000 words. When readers subscribe more than my income, I can share the excess with the platform 46.
Usually, split contracts are good for the gods; Guaranteed contracts are suitable for new employees.

Five, showdown: I eunuch

Less than half of authors actually make money; As for the “monthly income of more than ten thousand”, it is already a very successful existence in the network literature circle, not a hundred.
Adding to the anxiety is the fact that most authors never know whether their next work will be a hit or a hit.

If someone asks me if it’s worth trying to write online, my advice is:
Unless you’re talented enough to become a head writer, writing books is bound to be less profitable than writing code.
When you code, you have weekends, five insurances, one housing fund, growth, precipitation, and stable expectations.

Later, even if I read novels again itching, also finally did not move a minute of “living by writing” idea.

At one time, my mother took my daughter to live in Wuhan for a long time.

What really shook me was the price.

Housing prices in Wuhan have soared to a frightening level.
My daughter-in-law and I made a budget of 1W7/ ping, but found that in Wuhan, we can only buy a very remote community, or we can only buy old shabby small.
For a moment, I felt that I could not live in Wuhan anymore. I had tried my best, but why was it so difficult to lead a decent life with dignity and family?
At that moment, I also sprout the idea of “go back to the third line”.
After discussing the plan with my daughter-in-law, she said she would listen to me.
So 2018 approaching the New Year, my wife as a pioneer will go back to investigate the home price of Yichang.
