What to do if you forget where you put your Apple Watch? Here’s how to find a lost Apple Watch.
Find the lost Apple Watch
Start by opening the Find My app on your device to get the ball rolling.
1. Open the Find My app on your iPhone (or iPad or Mac).
2. Tap Devices at the bottom of the screen.
3. Find your Apple Watch in the list and tap it.
4. The app will locate your Apple Watch and display its location on a map. You’ll also get some options to help you find it.
Tap “Play Sounds” to have your Apple Watch play sounds to help you find it.
If the Apple Watch is not in the same location as the iPhone, tap Route to show the route needed to locate the Apple Watch.
Tap “Wipe this device” to completely reset the Apple Watch and erase all data.
Click Activate under the Mark As Lost option. You can then select a message and include a contact number so people can contact you when they find the Apple Watch.
Click on “Notification of Discovery” to have the Apple Watch send you a message when it reconnects to the Internet. This works best with an Apple Watch that loses its connection or runs out of battery power.
You go ahead. How easy and convenient is it? Between being able to make the Apple Watch play sound, have directions, and other options, you should be able to find a lost Apple Watch in a short amount of time.
