😜 Addressables
The addressable Asset system allows a developer to request an asset by its address. Once an asset (such as a prefab) is marked as “addressable,” it generates an address that can be called from anywhere. No matter where the asset is located (local or remote), the system finds it and its dependencies and returns it.
Use Window -> Asset Management -> Addressable to start using the system.
Addressable items use asynchronous loading to support loading from any location with any set of dependencies. Whether you use direct references, traditional asset bundles, or resource folders, addressable items provide an easier way to make your game more dynamic. Addressables simultaneously opens up the world of asset bundles while managing all the complexity.
