Clear the Safari cache on the MacBook
If you use the official Mac Web browser – Safari, complete the following steps to clear the cache:
- Open Safari.
- Select preferences in the Safari menu.
- Select the advanced section to show the development menu in the menu bar.
- Click Develop on the menu bar and select Clear Cache.
- Close the Safari browser to complete the cache cleanup.
Clear Chrome cache on MacBook
If you use Chrome, one of the most popular browsers, follow these steps to clear the cache:
- Open Chrome.
- Select Preferences from the Chrome menu.
- Scroll down and click Advanced.
- Click clear browsing data at the end of the privacy and Security section list.
- Examine the cached images and files, select a time range and click the Clear Data button.
