Engaged in front-end development for more than a year, gradually collected some Chrome plug-ins, these plug-ins greatly improve my work efficiency, now share with you.

OneTab (a must for frequent web users)

At the end of the day’s work, when you get off work, you find that you have opened a lot of web pages. Some may still use them the next day, and some want to delete them in minutes. You’ll notice that the titles on the site are all jammed together, and it’s hard to tell which is which. How do you choose? Maybe you should consider OneTab.

OneTab is a Chrome extension that allows users to free up the memory of Chrome tabs in one click if they are overwhelmed by the number of tabs they have open. Instead of closing the browser, OneTab simply closes all the tabs. It caches all existing tabs and then pops up a new TAB using the one-click collection function, as shown.

In the OneTab TAB TAB, users can choose to restore useful Chrome tabs and discard other tabs that should be closed. OneTab also displays your saved web pages when you reopen Chrome, and you can choose whether to restore them directly.

Octotree (A must for Github users)

Octotree gives you a clear view of the structure and code of a project when you view it on Github, making browsing code more purposeful and reducing unnecessary code downloads. After using this plug-in, your project’s page looks like this

Page-Ruler (Essential for Front End Engineer)

Page Ruler allows you to measure the size and position of elements on any Page.

Page Ruler can not only measure the width and height of elements, but also measure the absolute position of elements relative to the Page. It is a good and useful measuring tool for front-end engineers.

Save to Pocket

Pocket can easily save articles (reading plug-in), video, convenient to view later, more people describe it as Chrome reading plug-in. With Pocket, all content can come together in one place and be viewed anytime on any device.

Pocket has APP version. We can also easily open the collection web page on mobile phones and other terminals.

Momentum

Chrome has ugly tabs by default, opens a beautiful browser page every day, gets a little more motivated to work and study, and most importantly, Momentum helps us to act like we don’t know what we’re doing.

Momentum automatically changes wallpaper, comes with its own clock, task calendar and to-do list. The official explanation: Replace your Chrome’s default “tabs.” The pictures are all from 500PX inside the high definition, no ads, no pop-ups, very suitable for notebook use.

With the plugin, instead of a blank page every time I open my browser, it looks like this:

What if you can’t download Chrome plugins? Copy one from someone else’s computer

One time, a colleague found a plugin on my computer that worked well, and his computer didn’t work on Google, so we found a more convoluted way to transplant my plugin to his computer.

The first step

Enter Chrome ://version/ to find the location of your extension on your computer.

The second step

Then type Chrome :// Extensions/to open the extensions page.

Select Developer Mode at the top, find the plug-in you want to export, and copy the ID of the plug-in.

Click “Package Extension” at the top of the extension management page, and a window will pop up showing the root directory of the plugin with the version number. For Windows 10, this is in this place:

C:\Users{User name}\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Extensions{ID}{version}

For example, Save to Pocket ID is: niloccemoadcdkdjlinkgdfekeahmflj, the version number is: 3.0.3.0

Fill in the root directory input box

C: \ users \ kurry \ AppData \ Local, Google, Chrome, User Data \ Default \ Extensions \ niloccemoadcdkdjlinkgdfekeahmflj \ 3.0.3.0

Don’t bother with the option below!! When it’s filled in, it looks like this:

Finally submitted directly, under niloccemoadcdkdjlinkgdfekeahmflj folder, there will be a file: 3.0.3.0 _0. Contents.

The third step

Next, install it on a computer with the same version of Chrome.

Open the extension management page and drag the CRX file into the window. A similar window for downloading files will appear at the bottom of the window. Click “Continue”.

If an installation error occurs, check whether the imported Chrome version is the same as the imported Chrome version.

This time, I would like to recommend 5 plug-ins that I often use. Next time, I will share 5 plug-ins. If you have any useful plugins might as well give me amway ~
