preface

Simple start, for this year’s interns, or take an examination of the foundation of much 😢.

In general

First of all, I took part in three interviews. In the first interview, I bumped into Ali’s ICBU and died miserably. There are only two other headliners left, and I’m not the only one who doesn’t know what to do.

It has been more than half a year since I got in touch with the Web in May last year and began to concentrate on learning the front end in August. However, my knowledge system is not perfect. Generally speaking, MY strength is not enough to make me feel at ease in the interview, and I hope to improve my knowledge system through the interview. In a word, some knowledge is not that you think you can fully play in the interview, which is the most important thing I learned in these three interviews.

Ali ICBU

The phone call was a bit deceiving. I asked for the same day interview on the third day of the application. Then I looked at my other application record.

This is a telephone face, the face will only big guy said that the phone is not convenient to ask the algorithm, this I really did not expect, but also prepared for a long time of algorithm.

First of all, the big guy introduced himself to me, who had never heard of ICBU.

Then I introduced myself. I recited a paragraph in advance, mainly from the learning experience and project experience. After the introduction, the big guy clenched my research direction to simply ask, to everyone nothing to help, not to mention.

Big guy or very approachable feeling, slowly lead to the first question:

  1. Describe each step from entering the URL to rendering the page for your site. 🙄 input URL to render out the interface process must have been prepared, I think big guy also know, he is here to ask me to do SSR principle, next. Js SSR.

  2. Then we talked about the UI library, the big guy is very good at quoting, from what I said to find the point, from Antd to bootstrap. 😢 I just used some bootstrap stuff for Django to cool it down.

  3. And then we go to the three-column layout, the two sides are fixed and the middle is adaptive. 🤣 when talking about using Flex, I pulled a lot, I pulled myself confused, do a lot of useless work, such as what to set the left and right flex-basis, in fact, set a fixed width is good, I don’t know why I want to talk about flex-basis, after saying this basic feeling cool. But from here I began to seriously consider their CSS skills, I found myself doing a lot of layout have to try two, although try several attributes can try out, but the interview ultimately pay attention to hammer out the final sound, even if it is right also makes people feel that you are not good.

  4. The guy kept his cool, slowly started talking about ES6, asked me what I knew about ES6 features, grabbed the arrow function after a long list, and asked me how to use the arrow function in older browsers. Babel brings tears 😭, so far completely blinded.

  5. After finishing ES6, the big guy said to talk about ES5, say a very simple question, constructor method and prototype method difference, I mentioned a little prototype method sharing, the big guy said at least three points. 😯 later baidu is serialization and method definition of the location is different? I don’t know if there’s anything else.

  6. Big guy wanted to ask CommonJS, was I very dish stop.

  7. TS, type and interface.

  8. Finally, the big guy came back to React in a very orderly way and asked how React rendered and updated the page from the perspective of pure front-end. When TALKING about this, I was not interested in the interview, nor did I want to think about what he wanted to ask. I simply wanted to record these questions and prepare for them later.

In addition, there are some small questions, basic need not prepare the kind, not wordy, in short, the interview experience is very good, behind a lot of reflection.

The headline on one side

Unlike Ali, the headlines gave me five or six days to prepare. The big guy was nice. I introduced myself and gave a very detailed speech.

  1. The big guy asked me the difference between HTTP and HTTPS 😣, RSA and TLS. I had prepared a lot for this aspect originally, but found a problem, that is, I think what I have written down is bad when retelling to others. This point should be retold aloud when practicing later.
  2. After finishing this, the big guy asked the div vertical center, barely answer four, as if just pass.
  3. Then ask the position, 😞 I forgot sticky, only remember sticky positioning.
  4. Then the big guy asked me how to achieve the fixed nail in the layout of the website. Embarrassingly, it can only be said that ANTD comes with its own component. If you want to achieve this, you can use sticky positioning. I don’t know the API that calculates the height from the top of the viewport.
  5. Then came cookies, sessionStorage and localStorage, and the big guy asked the client and server how to set cookies. Ill 🥱
  6. And then cross-domains, not asking deep, long sigh of relief
  7. Talking here, the big guy felt that it was time to go to the question, and gave a question pointing to “this”, which did not do all right, sometimes the brain does not turn, I do not know why.
  8. Then the big guy asked me a logical problem, three red hats, two blue hats, three people can not see their hats, and then they said the color of their hats at the same time, asked three people the color of their hats. I didn’t figure it out anyway.
  9. Finally the big guy asked to do the sum of two numbers.

In addition, THERE are some other questions I can’t remember, but they should be quite simple and have no record value. Big guy is very patient, not will also guide you to get the answer, some questions will also tell you clearly

Headline 2 face

The second interview is a little late, the boss is obviously a little tired, first let me talk about my own project.

  1. First of all, I asked Cookie, and this time I was a little bit more detailed, and I did a little bit more preparation. Cookie properties, how to set them and so on.
  2. I then asked about HTTP caches, from strong caches, to negotiated caches, to caching proxies.
  3. Then I asked a question about HTTP2.0
  4. Then load and DOMContentLoaded, this I did not prepare, only remember to do a problem there, there was no heart ah, cool 🥺
  5. The big guy didn’t ask too many questions about JS and CSS, probably everything, only asked the benefits of prototype chain and modular inside ES Module.
  6. Algorithm this respect, big guy asked or the sum of two numbers, I remind big guy last round just met, good coincidence. Then bosses asked me to write a binary tree to add a node, and to ensure that he is a balanced binary tree. 😫 chicken dish began the long road of the struggle, the final level traversal is used to implement a wrong answer, bosses to look, said the implementation of a binary search tree insert, breathe a sigh of relief, or do wrong, however, bigwig error after struggled for a moment before.

At the same time, I also found a problem, the algorithm written by myself, without preparation, no confidence.

conclusion

I don’t know what to say, there is still a lot of knowledge to review at the front end. The interviewer encourages me to write vanilla JS, which is what I should pay attention to in the future. Come on.
