In July 2019, Beijing was also experiencing the weather of occasional rain and gradually warming up, so I joined Sinfol and became the first group of employees of Sinfol Beijing Office.

What was the situation like? Six or seven people crowded in a small room, the office with a small cubicle, is an office & temporary conference room for Gao Yang, think about it or rather shabby, but it has the feel of a start-up company.

Although there is no reality, only ideal, but to join the thinking or not for me, is not a difficult choice. The interview process is not obvious, I believe that every developer will be full of affection and curiosity for the “small and beautiful” technical community like Sifor.

Life in the small room was not long before the increase of colleagues gradually became too much to sit on, and we also moved to a large room in the same building, which could accommodate 20 or 30 people. The office is big, the pattern of the company is also opened, but also set off a new wave of “small wave tip” in the industry.

Sifor Beijing office, has now moved to a decent office building in Zhongguancun; No, it can no longer be simply defined as “indecent development” technology community; Not long ago, I became a “former employee” of Scarf.

Recalling the past two years, there are a lot of things worth thinking and precipitation, it is better to start from some of the old.

1, the beginner’s mind

“Stick to the beginner’s mind” is a phrase frequently used by entrepreneurs, no less than “study hard and make progress every day” in childhood. In fact, the truth is the same, adhere to is to study well, the beginner’s mind is to make progress every day.

@Gaoyang and @Bobo are resident in Beijing office, and they are the bosses with whom they have the most contact in their daily work. From my point of view, Gaoyang’s initial focus is more on technical community & developers, while Bobo’s initial focus is more on media & business. This may have something to do with their CV or their daily work pattern.

In fact, I didn’t communicate much with @joyqi, the boss of 70, but I still remember that when I just joined the company, they would play DOTA 2 during lunch break. In such an era where “there are DOTA 2 players everywhere except in the game”, this may also be a kind of rare original aspiration and persistence. The communication with the butler @fen was also more online. I don’t know what his original intention was, but he was the appearance of Sifl in my impression at the beginning.

2, the media

The media is the main part of my work when I think about it. As an industry media, I can’t shoulder too many social responsibilities. I focus more on how to create value and disseminate information.

People are motivated to engage with media, driven by social and psychological factors. Good content is not only used to spread, but also to feel, is the organic combination of sensory communication and immersive experience.

Now that so many media outlets have come up with the slogan “create content with depth and temperature,” the most effective way to express ideas and emotions is to discover stories. Why some content can let a person never forget, most of them exist in the human memory in the form of story. The process of telling a story is often a process of emotional transmission, and storytelling can reach people directly.

What traditional technical media lacks is the story. So in the past two years, people have started to conduct interviews, plan salons and hold Hakathon, just to gather people together and create some stories.

At the same time, we all know that the future can occupy people’s eyes not only text, but also pictures, audio, video. But behind it is time. In the coming period of time, the most intense competition in the media industry is time, and all commercial products will also be competing for time. Because only in the lengthened longitudinal time, can let the content have more opportunities to reveal, realize.

3, anecdotes,

Share an anecdote about a “health” problem. I will spend more time in hospitals in 2020 than in corporate offices.

At the height of the epidemic last year, I was hospitalized for medical reasons. It was not a serious problem, but it required frequent visits to the doctor for medication observation, and the quarantine policy during the epidemic period, so I had to be hospitalized for recuperation.

Again, I skipped the hospitalization process, but I wanted to share an amazing experience — it was easy to get into “flow” on the ward. On my most productive day, between three fluids and two dressing changes, I wrote and published 10 articles lying flat on my bed. Later, when my work efficiency was low, my colleagues teased me to go back to the hospital ward to find some feelings.

Towards the end of the year, I went to the hospital for the second operation, and the hospitalization period was still one month. However, with the gradual growth of the team members and the joining of new colleagues, I was basically in the state of fishing for fish and swimming for water, which was quite pleasant.

The biggest impact of two hospitalizations may be a weight gain of 20 kg. But fortunately last year to develop the habit of exercise, in the recent physical examination in addition to the reminder of weight loss, the body’s other indicators are good. So, the term “healthy fat” is pretty much true.

4. Find yourself

In the two years since I joined Sifl, I have experienced a process of finding myself.

The computer that university learns, said cross talk has played the electronic sports competition; Worked as an intern in the Medical Association and helped doctors sort out surgical courses and case documents. Although I have been working in the media field after graduation, I have more or less engaged in investment, fashion magazine, “We Media”, sports rehabilitation, catering, P2P, cross-border e-commerce and other industries. Whether I am a foreign aid for a friend’s company or incubate investment projects with my boss, it is a rare experience.

But what am I fit for? What is the direction of work after that? There is no complete concept because of the miscellaneous things we touch.

I am very grateful for my experience in Sifou, which allowed me to start thinking and disassembling myself formally in a big atmosphere. The first step I took in this process was a noun explanation of “sifre”, which is also the last sentence of this article:
