L7 is an open source development framework for visual analysis of large-scale geospatial data based on WebGL launched by AntV data visualization team of Ant Financial. L7 focuses on the visual representation of spatial data. Based on the theory of graphic semiotics, it transforms abstract and complex spatial data into 2D and 3D symbols, and realizes rich visual expression through visual variables such as color, size, volume and texture.
The 2.0 beta version has been released for more than a month, and after more than 20 iterations, it officially bid farewell to the beta version and ushered in the 2.0 legal version. The official version of the main increase layer interaction function and point, line, plane animation support; Added new layers for visualizations such as aggregation, text annotations, dotted lines, and city buildings. Satellite remote sensing data visualization support is added to data types. In terms of the document, the content structure has been reconstructed, and how to use each layer is described in detail. The document is richer and faster to use. We also provide project templates with different frameworks for new users to get started quickly.

New features of L7 2.0
The layer of animation
L7 animation mechanism based on graphics rendering supports smooth animation display of tens of thousands of geographical elements. Currently, the dot layer supports water ripples, fly lines, and Light up the city. The Layer Animate method allows you to set the animation type and animation configuration quickly and easily.
Basic interaction
WebGL off-screen rendering technology is used to achieve pixel-based pickup. L7 supports rapid selection of massive data and highlights to meet interaction requirements. Layers support active, Select and other interactive highlighting methods, as well as listening to layer events for custom highlighting. The layer interaction event returns the geographical information of the selected element. You can create custom effects by highlighting new layers.
Raster data
Raster data generally refers to remote sensing satellite data, such as meteorological, elevation, vegetation index and other data. L7 uses WebGL rendering technology to realize front-end dynamic rendering, users can customize styles, and support data filtering. Satellite remote sensing data visualization in the field of image processing analysis and AI intelligent interpretation will have large application, following the chip hardware export restrictions, such as geographical spatial image software has also been restricted list, remote sensing data visualization is build its controllable intelligent analysis and comprehensive application of remote sensing information ecological system is one of the basic technology, we will continuously invest in this field, Research on behalf of the state.
