If the MAC is connected to a wired network, it can share WiFi without downloading and installing other WiFi sharing software. However, if the MAC is connected to a wireless network, it cannot share WiFi, that is, it cannot share WiFi when it is connected to WiFi.

WiFi sharing steps are as follows:

1. Click System Preferences in the DOCK.

2. Click Network to set the parameters

3. Click on the left [Wi-Fi], and click on the lower right [Advanced].

4. Select create computer-to-computer Network and click OK.

5. Click the WiFi icon on the top menu bar. If WiFi is not enabled, click Open

6. Click Create Network.

7. Select a random network name, set frequency band to 11, and click Create.

8. Enter “System Preference Settings” again and click “Share”.

9. Click in the lower right corner [Wi-Fi Options]

10. Set the security to “WPA2 personal level”, and then set the password. Of course, if you want everyone nearby to have unlimited connection, you can set the security to “none”, then click “OK”.

11. Click On the right [Internet Sharing] → [Start]

12. After a few seconds, the WiFi icon in the menu bar is shown in the figure, indicating that WiFi sharing is successful and other devices can search for connections
