Make a USB boot drive

  1. Download the Ubuntu image file

Ubuntu Release 20.04 can also be directly downloaded from the official Ubuntu Release 20.04 (may require scientific Internet access)

  1. BalenaEtcher – Flash OS Images to SD Cards & USB Drives are recommended
  2. Prepare a formatted USB flash drive (8GB or more recommended, exFAT format recommended)
  3. Burn iso file to USB disk with burn software

The following picture represents the burning success

Partition Win

Boot from usb flash drive

The steps are a little different for each PC. You can find out how to boot your PC from the USB disk. Take Lenovo LEGION as an example

Follow these steps to restart the computer and boot from the USB drive [Settings -> Updates and Security -> Recovery -> Advanced Boot (Reboot Now)]

After the blue screen [Use Device -> EFI USB Device] you see the boot screen and you’re done

Set the Ubuntu

You can Continue along almost mindlessly, the only major requirement is that there is no mouse or trackpad driver, only TAB, Enter, d-pad, etc. If you don’t know how to install Ubuntu, you can also check out other people’s blogs on the Internet
