We deliver software products to our customers every day, and the creative process of software product design is essentially about solving problems and creating customer and business value for customers and users.
In the 1990s, the concept of “design thinking” was put forward by the School of Design of Stanford University, which was first adopted into commercial application by IDEO and other companies and spread widely.
“Design thinking” is defined as a set of principles and methods that combine creativity and rationality to create appropriate solutions from a deep insight into users and the context of a problem. It applies to a wide range of industries, and today many enterprises committed to digital transformation and product design use it as a key methodology and guiding ideology to guide the process of designing products and service solutions for their customers.
CMB introduces design thinking and a series of common methods, and combines them with demand analysis and planning methods advocated by agile development to form a multi-role collaborative working process for solution design at the start-up stage of new products and projects for customers, which we call “Design Thinking Workshop”.
