Ok, let’s talk about some small experience of undergraduate students working in elite companies

[Interview Experience]

In the Spring Festival of 2019, I was still working as an intern at netease. After learning about the layoff news of netease in various news, I began to find a new job with a sense of crisis 😭. By chance, I got the opportunity to push in the headlines! No written examination directly into the interview. I did some Basic Java questions on one side, some Basic Android questions on the other, and a simple algorithm question on the third side (simple application of large root heap). After **4 rounds of interviews (3 technology + 1HR), I joined the family of Bytedancer and officially became a Bytedancer.

“Teacher”

In July 2019, I officially joined Bytedance. I took over a relatively new project, which was just launched 🤐. When I thought I was going to show my talents, I was confused. This new project is really new, and I have never come into contact with most of the technologies. Such as:

  • I use the Java language -> project with Kotlin
  • I use MVC framework -> project with MVP and MVVM
  • I use The Volley Network library -> project Retrofit
  • .

Fortunately, the organization has arranged for me a very stable and reliable mentor! On the same day, he gave me a list of the skills I needed to learn based on my knowledge base, and also explained to me how far I needed to master these skills to write requirements, which greatly reduced my transition from a fresh graduate to a professional! About a week later, I can start small requirements development, the tutor always cares about my learning progress in spare time, timely help me control the direction and progress, to avoid stepping on the pit 👍; When encountering a problem can also give me the appropriate guidance at the same time leave enough space for thinking! Under such guidance, I have been able to gradually take over the business modules that my mentor was originally in charge of after more than a month. 😎 (although I’m still a terrible cook)

【 Technical atmosphere 】

The project team is almost full of 4 ~ 5 years of experience in the technical talent, solve problems quickly and accurately, code standard and clean, active and open mind. Although they all have unique skills, but they do not have any AIRS, each other’s classmates, often consult each other, very humble. One of the most interesting points is that there will always be technology sharing within the company and the project every two or three days. Some are the introduction of new technology, some are the summary of common problems in a technical direction, and some are the performance optimization of a technical direction. And so on, anyway every time listen to can absorb fresh knowledge 😋. The team also encourages newcomers to have a series of lectures on technology. No matter what knowledge they have learned or their understanding of a business module, students will listen to you as long as you speak, and they will listen carefully! Will also give a lot of advice, whether it is technical, speech skills, writing on the board, in short, as long as they will, will not be stingy to share with you, to my this year’s growth is really really really too ~ ~ ~ ~ good ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

[Salary and Benefits]

In fact, THE first time I saw a large sum of money, is my first salary in byte 😂. From 19 years of work to the moment of writing and writing, it was only 9 months since I graduated and I got my first bonus of X months. I rented a 5K house in Zhongguancun, Beijing, but I still managed to buy a lot of electronic products (iPad Pro, iPhone, Ps4 Pro, TV…). 💰, 20+ Ps4 games, still paying (Huan) finished the mortgage to buy a house in foshan 💰… Anyway salary treatment is really really good ah!!

Welfare level is even more needless to say 🙈 :

  1. Three meals a day, the company covers!
  2. Afternoon tea at 4 o ‘clock every day, all inclusive!
  3. Every day not limited, not replenishment of the snack cabinet, the company all inclusive!
  4. All kinds of festive gift boxes, the company all inclusive!
  5. Didi cost of commuting from work, the company is all inclusive!
