Rust Chat Room, No. 19 – Start openRA-RS + Chat

Time: 2021/03/02 20:30-21:30

Speaker: Mike

Content:

OpenRA is an open source reworked version of Red Alert, but only red Alert 1 has been implemented so far, and Red Alert 2 is not yet complete. OpenRA is currently written in C#. Imagine what would happen if OpenRA were re-implemented with Rust.

If you do, do it with Rust’s hottest Bevy game engine. Ideas from anyone interested in Rust game development.

We will start with a learning program, and openRA-RS internal sharing will even become a dedicated video series. Stay tuned.
