Create a SpringBoot project using IDEA

1. Find File – > New – > Poject

2. Select Spring Initializr Project SDK on the left and select JDK (JDK version must be above 1.8) and click Next

3. Set your package name and project name and leave the other defaults unchanged. Click Next

4. As shown in the picture below: Find Spring Web in the left Web (the version of IDEA may be different and some are Web), select the version to rely on, and click Next

5. Click Finish!

6. You can delete things you don’t need

7. Write a class to write a simple Controller interface

8. You can find the startup class and the startup window of IDEA to manage the startup

9. The operation is successful

A simple SpringBoot project is created

Package the SpringBoot project and deploy it to the server

1. Put the project into a JAR package (using Maven) :

Enter the MVN clean package command in Terminal

Lifecycle-> Package can also be found in the Maven Project window in IDEA

2. After success, you can see our package in the target directory of the project

3. Put the jar on the server to start the jar package: java-jar + package name

4. The access is successful

Conclusion:

Springboot is a quick start framework with built-in servlet containers that require no additional setup. An application can run super fast both locally and on the server!!
