Two days ago, I reprinted an article about programmer’s life on my official account. In the article, the author mentioned something about a training course. In fact, the main part of the article has nothing to do with the training.
The training class is full of rubbish, no exception. An excellent programmer is first interested and love this industry, second is the way of thinking and learning ability. A few short months of training will destroy you and turn you into an interview machine instead of shaping you.
Though his message a little extreme, but it can also represent a very few people in the industry point of view, and sometimes even some company hiring, will pay special attention to come out from a training organization of students, because students out of their agency a few resume fraud, resume writing all kinds of electric project, when you are ready to talk to his fine electricity technology architecture, I don’t know.
This type of resume because, after all, hard to find a job, so will continue to flow into the market, cause we are out of training institutions may have some prejudice, but just because of this a few as a whole, is the complete negation is SB, maybe you don’t know is why China’s rise over the years of training institutions, supporting a large Chinese Internet. What we should really despise are the programmers who lie on their resumes, not the students from training institutions.
In previous years, with the high-speed development of the Internet, the Internet company to talented person’s desire is very urgent, and the Chinese university of annual output that computer related professional graduates, completely unable to meet the demand of China’s IT industry’s rapid emergence of choose and employ persons, imagine holding a lot of money and have very good project, but can’t find the right person is very painful thing.
Maybe your colleague is graduated in chemistry, physics, mathematics or electrical system are common, with the development of the industry slowly you will find that to study medicine, market management, tourism and so on, and even a lot of friends didn’t go to college, in other industries have been working for many years turned to the IT industry friends, really can say is: 365 line to line programmers.
Some of these friends who are particularly strong can enter this industry through self-study, but more friends who want to be engaged in IT industry the most convenient way is training class, and even many friends who are computer majors will choose to go to training before looking for a job, so that they will be more competitive when looking for a job.
Last time have a reader see my six years program, this article then give me a message, said they have no record of formal schooling, conditions are very poor in the home, oneself also is 33 years old, people feel about the future is very confused in Shanghai, he want to do IT in this industry, this is don’t know how to start, Shanghai training fees as high as more than 20000, It was the only savings he had accumulated over the years. After a period of time, he said he dropped everything and chose to sign up for training classes, the follow-up result is unknown.
In fact, sometimes I think we should not despise the friends from the training class, and even admire their behavior. Before they choose to go to the training class, most of them are the most poor and weak. For example: As a family with poor economic conditions, four years of college may have used up the family savings, when the future is uncertain, but have to borrow to attend training, which can be how much pressure. After entering the job, the programmer may need to pay more efforts than the training to slowly fill up the lack of computer foundation.
I’ve interviewed over 500 people over the years, worked with hundreds of colleagues, and worked with programmers from different backgrounds. I’ve met programmers from all over the world. Therefore, everything can not be absolutely, training class out of scum also have excellent programmers, also graduated from the class, we than the starting point, but the end.
Take me as an example, I am not a computer major, but entered this industry through a training institution. After graduation, I joined an outsourcing company. It can be said that I have experienced both training and outsourcing for programmers. It was a little difficult when I first graduated, but gradually I found that I was not much worse than others, and even in some aspects slowly ahead.
As far as I know, many of them are from training institutions. Now they are leading a group of technicians in different fields to grow together. As an outstanding Chinese programmer, please put down your prejudice, otherwise how can we go to the world? Everything is the need to use strength to speak, otherwise are blind BB.
Programmers who constantly despise this and that are the ones who deserve to be despised, and should focus more on improving their own abilities rather than highlighting themselves for the sake of despising others. Everyone has his own experience, and everyone’s experience is worthy of our respect.
I’m not ashamed or proud of having trained, it’s just my past and nothing more.
