We hope the Nuggets will provide a platform for you to take a hard look at what you’ve learned this year along the technical path, and we hope it will help you to share it with others.
Award setting
Similarly, we have prepared a wealth of prizes for this event:
- Koi Prize: The author who has the most reading, likes and comments on his/her article will be awarded “Free reading of the Gold Diggers Booklet”, 1 in total;
- “Thumbs up” award: The authors of the first 6 “thumbs up” articles will be awarded “Nuggets T-shirt + Nuggets mouse pad”, 6 in total;
- Popularity award: The authors of the 10 most read articles will win the “Golden Notebook”, 10 in total;
- Participation prize: all authors who participate in writing and meet the requirements can get “three copies of the booklet with 60% discount code”, no ranking.
Note: the above awards cannot be repeated (participation awards are not included), the repetition will be postponed.
In addition to the prizes, all the winning articles will be recommended by the “Nuggets home page”, and have the opportunity to get the nuggets official Weibo, wechat public number and other channels recommended, so that more users can see your articles.
Essay requirements
There is no limit to the theme of this essay contest, but we have several requirements for the type of essay and the way of participation:
- The essay topic is related to technology, which can be the learning summary and experience sharing of a certain technology, or participation in the research and development process of the project. This event will not accept:
- Resource aggregation articles, such as awe-list;
- Introductory tutorial articles, such as “How to Build a Hexo Blog”, environment builder, etc.
- Translation articles;
- Articles irrelevant to the subject;
- Content that is not neutral or fair, such as content written by a company or its agent (such as a public relations company), only hoping to promote its commercial products or the company’s content;
- If the content is inconsistent with the theme of the event or is not original, the qualification of the selection will be cancelled, and the qualification of participating in the event may be affected.
- More than 600 words;
- Activity time: January 7 – January 31 (Annual summary articles published need to add “Gold digging Technology essay” to participate)
- February 11 – February 15 for selection and award;
- Must be an original article, posted using the Nuggets column (click the Write article button on the Nuggets Web home page);
- Prize-winning works, copyright still belongs to the author, but nuggets has the right to use;
- Nuggets reserves the right of final explanation for this technical essay call.
