Sorry for not having talked to you for a long time. It was a beautiful day in Beijing today. I sat in my office and looked out the window for a while
Goodbye to dig the friends
I remember a lot of people asking me how to be a good community. It’s as simple as making friends with every user in the community, making them feel like you’re there for them, understanding them, and supporting them. We live in a world that is squeezed by data, algorithms, opinion, and ideology, so the most important position for a community is that people can shed their burdens and come and talk to people who understand them.
From that point on, I think the Nuggets have done it. Thank you to each and every one of you for your gift to this product.
Goodbye friends
In fact, I have not completely put down, is the Nuggets a lot of things did not do well, at least not as good as I think. Fortunately, and very, very grateful, after a period of silence, the Nuggets have seen two important changes:
- The Nuggets have undergone a complete technical refactoring, thanks to everyone involved. Of course, this refactoring is only technical, so many features are not perfect, here please dig friends to the team a little patience, we will fully support.
- A very suitable and very excellent new stationmaster @ ten years trail (Moon shadow). Of course, maybe this new friend will not call himself “stationmaster” any more, it doesn’t matter, the next gold is up to you, although it is still small and not good enough, but here the users are great.
And to those of you who have been with the Nuggets to this day, we’ve been through so many things that we can’t replicate, no matter what happens in the future, thank you for your work, it’s a gift to this product.
Never say Goodbye to developers
Wherever I am, I will continue, always, and firmly focus on software and developers, the most important cultural legacy of the 21st century. The developer has never changed its identity in my mind, the artist of this time. If this century is going to have a Renaissance, I want it to belong to all developers!
